This print titled 'Nandi' pays ode to the artisans who I had the opportunity to meet during my visit to Kerala in 2020.
Currently based out of Kerala, these artisans originate from Uttar Pradesh and have practised this art form for several decades.
Locopopo an India based illustration studio run by Lokesh Karekar set up the ‘Print Collective for Covid Reliefʼ to raise money for Indians affected by Covid selling prints and donating 100% of the profits to GiveIndia.
Together they raised over 2 Lacs to support the community.
Super thankful to have been able to contribute to a genuine cause with the brilliant indian design community.
