The Story
Justin Wirtalla and Alex del Campo wrote ROBOT CHRISTMAS with one thought in mind: the world needs a Christmas album that it can dance to.

Three years ago in Sugar Hill, NH, the idea was born of a robot acapella trio that would take Starbucks’ counters by storm with their renditions of classics such as ‘If You Are Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Robot Hands.’  This idea did not die, but for three years hibernated while Justin and Alex pursued other creative collaborations in film and photography.  Their work focused on self-liberation, self-improvement, and the power of wonder.

In the Spring of 2013, inspired by the work of Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, They Will Destroy You, and other excellent musicians, the idea re-surfaced from the depths of greymatter in a new form; the idea of three robots who’s only dream is to write a christmas album for humankind.  The necessity of creating music that would get holiday partygoers off the couch and let the spirit of christmas, perpetual youth, and having a great fucking night channel through their bodies.  Music that resurrects elements of the christmas magic we experience as children with reckless abandon. Music that can be played all year long.  ROBOT CHRISTMAS.  Play it loud.
