Intention The purpose of Form & Content is to display a discourse on typography and the Bembo typeface in particular.
Inspiration Renaissance Origin of Bembo, which is based off of Cardinal Pietro Bembo's 1495 De Aetna.
Origin of choices: The literal interpretation of the material is shown through a centered, straight-forward gird system. The supplemental lines that run throughout chosen pages are set at the characteristic angle of the serifs and stress of the "o" in Bembo. The color palette and paper choice reflect the Renaissance.
Medium: Printed on specialty paper, hand sewn and bound.
