Hope in reflection
The result of the collaboration X-change Berlin-Kaliningrad 2021 partnership (ORWOhaus, Projektraum GalerieM, Vorota gallery).

Two video artists from Kaliningrad, Anna Stepchenko and Vlad Shutov, made a video and invited the German partners to start a real exchange (to come up with a sound for the video). As the result, a joint work arose. In the video itself, without sound, the reflection of the static space was shown, which made this space even more interesting. Therefore, the idea arose: reflection itself is an exchange and a change in what we can see, hear and feel.
It was chosen a verbal mantra that sounds, on the one hand, strictly scientific and physical, and on the other - emotionally and metaphorically.
Implementation (be sure to listen in stereo):
Like the static image on the left side of the video, the smooth / clear audio was left on the left. On the right side, the pitch changes. This creates dissonance in the head, which is perceived as waves - sometimes more, sometimes less powerful. The mantra begins in Russian. Then comes Macedonian, Bulgarian, German, English and Finnish. Ends in German.
