Animal Cannibals
Animal Cannibals is a hungarian rap duo, formed in 1989. For the 25th anniversary of their first single, they reached out for us to make a videoclip for their song called ‘F.F.F.F.’
This is the official music video I participated in as leader animator.
This was an exciting project to work on, because the backgrounds were modelled miniatures in real life, and we combined it with 2D animation. During the styling process of the video, our goal was to make a ’90s, trashy, loose style. A huge amount of the animation (approx 50%) is made with rotoscopic animition. For the other parts we used style refernces from cool oldschool cartoons like 'Beavis and Butthead' or 'What's with Andy?'
I used the lines of the animation to coordinate with the rhythm of the music.
