The name Peking Road comes from a street in Hong Kong which was named after the old romanization and Chinese pronunciation of Beijing. This street is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong—an area renowned for its many shopping centers and excellent restaurants, of which the street Peking Road is no exception to this quality.

Peking Road is to be a general partnership formed by 5 members. It was operated and agreed upon by John Emmanuel Medina, Chrishieldawn Provido, Jaynor Narvasa, Earl Dionne Catalina, and Brian Joy Imarga who will also serve high-level roles in the company.

Peking Road sells a set of products not found in General Santos City and its outlying areas consisting of a product line of siu mei dishes pertaining to pork, duck, and chicken. Furthermore, its restaurants will attempt to create an authentic and premium feel that a person is currently in China by replicating aesthetic moods and styles typical of Chinese restaurants.
