UNDERWATER AWAKENING
Every time the water hits my face. It brings back my past memories. I don't remember if it really happened to me or it is just a deja vu. Every time the water hits my face, I feel like I've lived in an underwater world. Water made me feel refresh and awake from my dream. Maybe I was a fish before. Or, I might have actually been underwater because every time a shock hit on my face, it gave me unintentionally rejoice.

The inspiration for this work comes from a simple thing in my daily life. As drowsiness comes, it is difficult to carry on activities in life. We, therefore, need water to help wake us from that sleep. These two photos were taken when placing an acrylic glass board over the face of the model. Using acrylic glass board suits my work because I can still clearly shoot the facial expression of my model as I pour water on the board. The water does not affect her face much so I can still see her expression and reaction.
