In the weeks leading up to 19 July 2021, Manchester was beginning to ease restrictions and welcome people back after a turbulent 18 months. Covid has affected everyone of us, whether it is directly or indirectly, but sadly, it has changed how we feel about socialising. This film was created to put the fire back in our bellies, to make us feel the buzz and the charm of the city again, and more importantly, to get us back to where we once were.
This film was part of a social media campaign which covered YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Photography and videography by Barrie Leach and Thomas Jennings.
