Coast to Coast Motor Tour Branding

Client:

Project Summary:
William planned a multi-week cross country road trip on his motorcycle from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles and back again, during which he'd document his progress and experiences. We decided a logo and brand elements would be a fun way to commemorate the trip. You can view his Coast to Coast stories at his IG account.

Approach:
The logo was made in a badge style so William could paste stickers of it in random locations along his trip. The elements include the origin and destination flags and an icon-style rendering of the motorcycle he rode for the journey. An Instagram template with city names was created for him to post at his various stops.

• social media templates (not used)

Instagram location templates:
The templates provided space for the location name (city, state) but also would feature William's photos from those locations in the background with a color wash treatment. Included in the design is a secondary mark of a skull embedded in a U.S. Route66-style shield. This was designed to follow the aesthetic of the logo and also the road system William was traveling on. These location images are just for reference and were not used.

Waypoint graphics for each tour stop.
