When I was presented to make this ad. My client’s company is a daycare, and they were having a dress up day for the different decades. They needed something that they could place around the daycare and to put on their Facebook to remind parents about the dress up day. When they told me about the ad, the only requirement for the ad was date the event. In order to communicate decades, I did some research and I designed Different patterns and shapes. That would be in outfits and pop culture in the decades and, the different fonts that they used. I put the swirl pattern in the background to help fill in the negative space. This ad was successful because it helped reach parents and to remind them to have their kids dress up for the occasion.
