During mid-September, Susan and I took a 4300 mile road trip through Montana, Moab, Utah and Silverton, Colorado. These are a few photos from 3 jeep trails we took out of Silverton where we saw abandoned silver mines, moose and beautiful scenery with fall colors in the high-country. On one trail (last two photos) we came to a very rough section of road and saw where a 4x4 truck had gone over the side. Trees stopped it from rolling into a deep canyon. We found out later that the accident happened the day before and fortunately no one was killed.
