Santulan (Sanskrit/Hindi translation): Balance

The Santulan Portfolio is a combination of a lookbook and a brand standards guide that demonstrates a broad range of papers that replace plastic in the retail and hospitality industry.

Together with Monadnock Paper Mills, I created and designed this fictitious lifestyle brand and portfolio as a sales tool to show marketers how to make the switch from plastic to paper for their print and packaging materials. This is demonstrated using examples of gift cards, hang tags, beverage labels, health and beauty products, brochures, signage and wall graphics that all feature the Santulan branding alongside information about each of the papers.

The Santulan sunscreen box features a juxtaposition of a sandpaper UV coating on the sand and a gloss UV coating on the water.
