The Sunflower Mission

On a site of a sunflower field in Helsinki, me and my cousin decided to have a photoshoot in here, given that the sun was setting with perfect pastel colour. The challenges during this spontaneous photoshoot was that:
- There weren't that many sunflowers that I expected, and they were rather small and quite scattered around.
- I am not experienced in photographing with the main focus on human - landscape photography is more of my comfort zone so this is definitely out of it.
Luckily, the sunlight were so warm and soft that i got super nice colours for all my photos. My cousin also did manage to pose herself as i didn't need to do much guidance. In the end, the photoshoot went rather well, and not too difficult as I had thought it would have been.
In the editing part with Lightroom CC, I decided to use less contrast and soften the photos a bit. Luckily, the soft light kinda made that happen, so I didn't have to soften the photos too much. I also decreased the saturation for blue and green, and I focused more on the pastel colour in order to create such comfy feeling. Moreover, I want my photos to look positive and relaxing, so the dominance of pastel colour, in my opinion, did the trick.
