Reassign Logo
As part of Impact Lab 3 : Planet, we were individually tasked with creating schemes relevant to our Sustainable Development Goal. My group member Kaitlyn's scheme related to the act of recycling e-waste, and offering university related incentives to students if they were active within the scheme. I offered to help with creating a logo for her scheme.

After a talk about her scheme and brainstorming possible names and logos, Kaitlyn came to the word 'Reassign'  and adopted it as her scheme name. It was chosen due to the word association of 'recycling' and 'assignment', with a nod also to the act of 'reassigning' a benefit from their act of recycling to the student.
I created a couple of sketches and played around with many typefaces for a wordmark in Illustrator for a while. Eventually I came across the final logo's typeface - Industry bold. This was chosen specifically due to it's lowercase g design, with the ability to adapt it to a 'recycle' motif. The logo was completed by creating these additions as a border to mimic a cycle. They were also able to be recoloured in many ways with the wordmark being separated to the recycling border. In this particular iteration the <---g was coloured in PMS 3115 as it was deemed an electronic related shade.
