Personal Project: Loretta's Powers

Before we begin, I would like to tell you that I returned back to this project BUT.....

I made changes I should have done to it in the first place. I made this back on May 31st of 2021 (this year) and believe me, the changes are different and unique like my whole own universe and newest designs in general.

This is a concept of Loretta's powers.

Which also, contains pose tests. I came up with some ideas to continue this project since I haven't made much stuff about it ever since I created the comic that reveals the reason why Loretta's parents got killed when she was young. Ahem, back to the concept-

First of all, each caster of these mysterious mystic magic powers has its own magic circle (and shield) based on their strongest feelings. These kind of mysterious powers are psychic. Because each caster is gaining strength from their emotions. The users become stronger, faster, more durable and such by emotions of oneself and others, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able to draw sustenance from the emotions or even slow or stop aging.

Limitations: The users may be limited to certain emotions, lose strength by an opposing emotion (e.g. hapiness to sadness), lose strength when feeling weak emotions such as doubt and sadness and be limited to their own emotions or the emotions of others. In order to gain their mystic form (watch concepts that will be down below this description), is to pass to a new level of magic. Magic circles have ancient symbols around them because this kind of magic power is ancient itself and it is unknown why it was even created to be given to anyone who will be the choosen one to gain them and where they come from. Loretta was the first child of Cassidy to be born and apart from predicting Cassidy was going to have another child in the next year, Loretta got chosen as the next person to gain these powers saying that she's the one who's going to save the world in times of danger in the future. She's going to be strong. But in order to fullfil this destiny, she must remain hidden on earth and none find out about her destiny because she's going to be in danger. These kinds of powers are going from generation to generation. It's also unknown where Cassidy had to go in order to find out about it and where she herself is coming from. (Cassidy is her mother, concepts of her will be up soon)

Now some concepts of her mystic/mystical form.

By "ref" I mean "reference"

Also her hair can get down while in mystical/mystic form. (She's drawn in different style because of the practice I wanted to do on the human anatomy)

And this is Loretta's (and Brianna's) mother Cassidy I refer to above. I decided to give her a new design (and new colour scheme) because her old one didn't feel right. I can say I feel proud of the result but still I need practice on shading. From this whole drawing, her hair colour was a very tricky part because of how this kind of blond hair colour looks like in real life.

As you can imagine, Cassidy's mystic/mystical powers are yellow because of her strongest feeling which is happiness. Like I said about this project when it came to post some concepts of Loretta, these kinds of powers are going from generation to generation and only the chosen ones are able to earn these powers to fulfil their destiny of saving the world in times of danger.

Her old hair colour used to be completely yellow, her eyes used to be red (I think, since I had less coloured drawings or sketches of her) and her outfit's colour schemes were gray, red, purple and magenta (I also think).

Now here I will leave you the reason why I clarify the animal versions of my characters as "anthros" and not "sonic":

JUST LIKE GALABEE FROM YOUTUBE, I THINK I WILL NO LONGER CLARIFY MY CHARACTERS AS "SONIC OCS-" CONSIDERING THE FACT MY STYLE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (YOU CAN'T LOOK AT MY STYLE AND AN OFFICIAL SONIC ART AND SAY IT LOOKS THE SAME, YOU'LL NOTICE DIFFERENCES) AND MY DESIGNS AND STORIES AND UNIVERSE AIN'T EVEN ASSOCIATED WITH SEGA LIKE IT KINDA DID WHEN I FIRST CREATED MY FIRST SONIC OCS. SO AT THIS POINT THEY AIN'T EVEN "SONIC" OCS ANYMORE. AFTER ALL, I STOPPED USING STUFF (E.G. CHAOS EMERALDS) THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SEGA BECAUSE IT FELT LIKE I WAS RIPPING SOME STUFF (OF SEGA) OFF AND INSTEAD, I CHANGED THEM WITH IDEAS I CAME UP WITH ON MY OWN TO MAKE MY OWN STUFF WAY MUCH DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE.

BASICALLY THEY ARE ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATURES IN ANY POSSIBLE SPECIES AT THIS POINT BUT NOT FURRIES 😂 IT'S BEEN THIS WAY FOR A WHILE LIKE HOW PEOPLE DRAW ANIMAL CHARACTERS BUT THEY AIN'T FURRIES. SO I'VE BEEN THINKING FOR A LONG TIME THAT IT IS HIGH TIME I STOPPED CLARIFYING MY SONIC OCS AS "SONIC OCS" AND INSTEAD JUST START CLARIFYING THEM AS "ANTHROS" ALTHOUGH I'VE BEEN MOSTLY REFERRING TO MY OWN OCS (AT LEAST) AS JUST "OCS" AND "CHARACTERS" AND I WILL STILL KEEP REFERRING THEM AS THOSE.

ALSO, I USED TO BE A SONIC FAN QUITE A LOT AND STILL AM THOUGH BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I USED TO BE. ALSO, BACK IN LATE 2017, LET'S NOT FORGET THAT I STOPPED DRAWING THEM IN THE SEGA'S ART STYLE NOT ONLY BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT FOR ME AND THAT I WAS KIND OF FORCING MYSELF IN TRYING TO DRAW THE EXACT SAME ART STYLE OF SEGA RESULTING IN LEAVING MY PERSONAL STYLE I HAVE HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE BACK TO WHEN I STARTED CREATING SONIC OCS IN 2013 AND I BEGAN TO SLOWLY IMPROVING IT BUT I ALSO WANTED TO RETURN BACK TO IT (MY PERSONAL ART STYLE) TO DEVELOP IT FROM SCRATCH AND ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE IT SO I COULD FIND MY OWN PERSONAL ART STYLE BECAUSE TRYING TO IMPROVE AND FIND A PERSONAL ART STYLE WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE AND ALSO, IT'S BETTER THAN TRYING TO FORCE YOURSELF INTO AN OFFICIAL ART STYLE THAT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT FOR YOURSELF.

THIS FEELING/THOUGHT IS A LITTLE COMPLICATED IN MY HEAD BUT STILL, I FELT LIKE GIVING AN EXPLANATION ABOUT IT WHEN I FEEL READY FOR IT AND I THINK I ALREADY AM NOW. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THOUGH BUT IT WILL BE OKAY IF YOU KEEP REFERRING TO THEIR ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATURE VERSIONS OF THEMSELVES AS "SONIC OCS" BUT JUST THAT. REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY SONIC OCS ANYMORE.

P.S. SONIC CHARACTERS AREN'T THE ONLY ONES WHO USE MUZZLES GLOVES, FUR OR SHOES- THEY DIDN'T COME FIRST SO KEEP THAT IN MIND AND PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO USE THAT AS AN ARGUMENT.💝💝💝 THANK YOU~
