Futuba Typeface

Futuba is a typeface celebrating the marriage of Futura and Bauhaus typefaces,
designed into modern use.

It begins diving into the early 1900s, made as a modern re-interpretation of the symmetric, architectural typefaces that once made the headlines of the many prints. Futuba has an organic flow carefully designed over the 1920's architectural structure.
History

The title Futuba is the combination of the first two syllables of Futura and the first two letters of Bauhaus. Its purpose is to be a typeface very similar to Bauhaus, but with the appearance of Futura.

1. Paul Renner, Father of Futura’s typeface, and also involved in the movement of Bauhaus in Germany.
2. Herbert Bayer, the creator of the Bauhaus typeface, who was inspired by Paul Renner Futura’s typeface.
