Cooper Hewitt: How Posters Work Multi Page Publication

Cooper Hewitt: How Posters Work
In typography class at Point Loma Nazarene University we were assigned to create a multi page publication on a Cooper Hewitt online exhibit. I choose the permanent exhibit How Posters Work.

"Featuring rarely-seen posters from Cooper Hewitt’s permanent collection, How Posters Work demonstrates how some of the world’s most creative designers have employed and pushed the boundaries of two-dimensional design, harnessed the mechanics and psychology of perception, and  mastered the art of storytelling to produce powerful acts of visual communication. " - Cooper Hewitt Website
Design Challenge:
This promotional print publication will help the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt Museum promote a collection of your choice. Assess the message and do research to inform your design direction. Use Adobe InDesign to create dynamic type, image and message in a visually engaging way. Use design principles with type (use paragraph and character styles), image, and a modular grid to arrange all elements.
