Single panel comics can only convey a story using a single illustration and supporting dialogues. Hence the story needed to be short and simple. For the following comic, I have illustrated my experience of trying to cook a restaurant quality dish with my family.
The Covid 19 lockdown had everyone shut inside their homes. The above comic is based on an Indian uncle who acts like responsible citizen but is always on an attempt to get out of his house.
Freestyle comics have a scope for building up a backstory before the final panel. The story was inspired by an embarrassing real life incident that had occurred to me during my school days. The dialogues and the visuals were improved to make the comic look interesting
