Our team has several challenges to conquer, where the extension shouldn’t disturb the existing house while it was in construction for they have kids undertaking online classes, our Client’s family has also experienced some alarming trespassers, making privacy and security our priority in the planning process. We will be retaining the concrete balusters and some parts of the house to lessen the construction cost and preserve some parts of the house for memories to look back on.

“𝘜𝘶𝘸𝘪 𝘢𝘬𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘰” said our client, requesting a faster construction, leaving us 2 months to finish the room extensions.

To guarantee the family’s privacy and security, we have designed reflective windows with minimal openings, suggested grills for additional security, and offered free smart locks for their doors.

As to achieve the 2-month room extension construction, our team planned to switch from a conventional construction system into applying some latest engineered materials for the finishing interior touches. Eliminating the process of interior wall plastering, painting, ceiling works, and flooring works, replacing them with PVC panels for faster interior construction, our team decided to have a shed-type roof in order to hit the construction operation faster.

Our Client decided to demolish the existing master’s bedroom to widen their living and dining area, to suit for Family occasions and gatherings, our team lessened entrances at the back part of the house, retaining only the important passages only accessible for the outdoor Function Area and pool to assure overall security of the house. The function area was intended to be an open-plan space for them to convert into an entertainment area whenever they please, adjacent to their 26 sq.m. pool.
