Marie Kondo is a Japanese organising consultant, author, and TV show host, most famous for her books on organising and cleaning. Her book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up has been published in more than 30 countries and became a best-seller in Japan and in Europe.
Wishing to make the book on cleaning more approachable and interesting-looking I decided to turn it into a little apartment using origami.
The apartment consists of two rooms and a front door, it can be displayed both folded and unfolded. The roof of the apartment is also a coposition where the title and author are attributed.
When the rooms are scanned using AR application Artivive, an animation of Marie Kondo putting things in place and organising appears.
