"Snakes, Fire, Water" 16x20in Done with oil paint.
This portrait has a lot of symbolism within. Th snakes represents my continuous transformation throughout life. The fire in my eyes represents my Zodiac sign: Aries. It is a fire sign. The water represents rebirth. A dip in water refreshes you and you come out a new person. I wanted my face to look dramatic and exaggerated. I also used a specific color palette of the triad orange yellow, blue green, and violet red. I rarely do a specific color palette, so it was a bit challenging, but overall a very fun piece to do.
