Deliverables
1. Best practice research and analysis of 3 key pages
2. Mobile wireframes
3.  Designed pages of the improved site
Rationale
The goodreads website is chosen because of it lack in userbility and best practice research and its potential. The original logo was kept with just a change in font and a better developed and more refined colour palette was chosen with keeping to a similar colour palette of the original site in order to keep the visual identity. Information was better grouped with less information showed in order to keep the viewer interested. More illustrations were added thought out the website in order to better extend its visual identity. Buttons were better defined with having only 2 types of buttons, one be main and the other supplementary and finally taking out all unessesary information in order to keep viewer interest when browsing the website.
Logo
Keeping the original essence of the logo with a slight update allows the users to still recognise the app and keeps emphasis on the core use of the app which is to discover books.
Components & Styles
The update of a more refined font choice and iconography gives easier flow to the app without it being over complicated. Also a smaller colour palette makes the app less overwhelming to the user.
Wireframes
Flat screens
The final app pages shows a simple user flow of the user discovering a book and adding it to their personal bookshelf. It also allows the viewer to see reviews of the books they open and who wrote the reviews.
