Orchid island is a small offshore island located off south-east Taiwan. The Tao people have been living on this remote island for a thousand years. Their culture and social norms are distinctively different from the Mandarin speaking world. ‘A Little Lost White Goat, is an illustrated book in the Tao dialect for children. Through the little goat’s adventures, Tao children learn their dialect and traditions.
