Ambition project
For this assignment we had to pick something we would like to work on, our skills, and possibly what we wanted to do in the future. I really like webtoons/comics and wanted to make my own. The story is about a Magical girl who is a detective. She goes on a date but it goes all wrong when he doesn't show up! What happened?

My goals were to improve my:
- Character design
- Story telling
- Environment design

Also:
4 pages completed by the end of this project.

Using 3D models in Clip Studio Paint, it will help me make it easier to draw poses more faster.
Evaluation
Did I succeed in my plans on bringing my ambition to life?
Yes and no. While I did finish the comic of four pages, it feels like I did not put much of love and energy in it. During the final weeks, I lost the flow and excitement I had when I first started. Though I am still proud that I finished it.

What went well?
I could quickly visualize how I wanted the story to go and decided on character designs.

What didn't go well?
While I decided quickly on character designs, I felt like I could've worked more on it. I had trouble keeping the same style on the main girl's face and didn't find it too appealing to draw. I also wish I had a more unique/captivating story.

Which new new skills have I learned?
I learned how to visualize a story, how to set down an environment easily and use minimum colors to project my ideas. I also have learned that I don't really like this style I used. In the future I will work more on webtoons with more shading and more intricate backgrounds.

I also found out it takes a lot of work to make a webtoon. But I am still excited to do more in the future and I'm currently in the works of developing one!
Concept Character Art
For the girl, I wanted her to have long, flowy hair with the colors pink and blue to give her a cutesy, magical feel. She also has stars in her eyes when she is excited/surprised.

For the boy, I wanted to give him some sort of a puppy feel. Blond hair and blue eyes for the innocent vibe.
First Sketch of the panels

To develop a easier reading flow, I had people read the comic and comment on if they could read it well.
