Super Rad / plastic take-out bag inspired t-shirt design – 2008
I have always been a fan of the generic "THANK YOU" design printed on take-out food and retail plastic bags. The simplicity and repetition is so eye-catching. Being inspired to incorporate this iconic graphic into a project, I felt a t-shirt application would work perfectly. During the design process I came to the realization that incorporating a message about the environmental impact of plastic bags made a lot of sense as well. This limited edition design is available on white American Apparel tees, printed in both red and blue!
