Lily Pads
I wanted to convey a sense of calm. The soft and minimal colorpalette works in favor of this and the off white background is relaxing to the eye. For the linework i used a pressure sensitiv brush that mimics a traditional brush. This combined with the watercolor look gives it a more traditional look, as if it was drawn with watercolor on a real piece of paper.
