Ethical Leadership at the University of Denver Daniels

Dedicated to improving learning opportunities for students in Denver, Scott Reiman serves several educational organizations. A member of the University of Denver’s Board of Trustees, Scott Reiman also belongs to the Strategic Advisory Board of that institution’s Daniels College of Business.

Courses at the Daniels College of Business emphasize not just the technical aspects of business, but also ways to effect positive change in the world through thoughtful stewardship and a commitment to ethics. The school’s professors endeavor to develop strong business leaders, not just individuals with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of business.

Several years ago, the University of Denver launched the Daniels Compass curriculum, a master of business administration program that comprises corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, and values-based leadership. Today, all graduate and undergraduate students at the school participate in the program to establish a strong sense of ethics and gain hands-on experience in conducting business proceedings with integrity. The program now incorporates several experiential learning opportunities, including the Ethics Boot Camp and the Leading at the Edge Weekend.
