Postage Stamp Project
The objective of this project was to choose an American Graphic Designer that we were inspired by. Paula Scher being one of the most influential designers of her time, is best known for her 'Public Theater' poster designs. At first glance I was very inspired by her handwritten MAPS designs, but all the intricate detail would be difficult to see in a stamp. The finished project piece was inspired by two of her famous pieces; "The Diva is Dismissed' which was one of her Public Theater posters and her piece "A little Sidetracked". Which is shown directly below.
The inspiration: Left-the color scheme and right-words exploding out of her mouth.
