A recent self portrait in indigo and blues with little blue homes pencil & watercolour, 9x12”. The piece is something of a meditation upon home and one's longing to belong and have somewhere one feels at home in. I moved country about 5 months ago, not too far off, within Europe still and somewhere somewhat familiar to me, Spain. But it's still been quite an adjustment. My illustration work often focuses around homes and cosy buildings and in this personal piece I approach the same feeling from a different perspective.
