EPOCH
The word epoch signifies a landmark point in the timeline of existence. Through this collection, I wanted to celebrate the fact that a material possession can be cherished even though they change and evolve throughout the lifespan of their existence.
The project involved designing garments using felt, which I prepared from scratch with organic wool fiber. The garments' organic structure in black, white and red tells a tale of its own. It signifies the beginning, middle and end of the lifecycle of a product, it’s evolution, metamorphoses and decay.
