In this post I have included some images made from a mixture of ink drawings and photographs that have been layered and made in Photoshop.  I made these images to show students the importance of spending time on their drawings, and that drawing is an essential part of the creative process.

The ink drawings were made from a mixture of pinhole photographs, natural resources and structures that were built from simple tactile materials.  I loved making the drawings as stand alone developments, but have also enjoyed using them as a base to develop images using photoshop.

The other intention for the work was to show students that Photoshop isn`t just a quick fix solution for making outcomes for Art work, and that it is a useful tool for making the fullest use of a limited amount of drawings and photographs.
