The bird is made up of small hexagons which are further divided into triangles of the associated colours of the Design Indaba Conference sections. The concept was to create an object like the hexagon that could then have infinite potential in terms of design for the rest of the campaign regarding the Design Indaba. The flying bird is two-fold in that it captures the hope that the Design Indaba aims to inspire and it represents the forward thinking and progression in the capability of design.
