Project: Popular Science Magazine for Kids
This magazine is prepared for children of ages 6 to 10. There have been 20 issues published. In each issue we focused on different subjects from a scientific point of view. We designed a group of characters named as “Kafadarlar” which means buddies and used them throughout all issues. Also for every issue we prepared extras such as; a unique game, an activity booklet, a poster for personal or school use… Each issue was bought by an average of 15000 people.

Aim of this issue is to draw attention to the importance of the marine ecosystems. Numerous creatures live in the seas, with harmony as part of the marine ecosystem. Problems affecting one or more of them may lead to ecosystem degradation. Invasive alien species are a major problem in the seas around the world. We wondered and researched what kind of problems these creatures cause. We have also cooperated with the UNDP, who supports studies on invasive alien species. Let's turn the pages to understand!
