Photostory X Buffalo Magazine

overview
BRIEF: Create a print and digital fashion photo story for an independent magazine, exploring the physical and mental benefits of outdoor exercise AND the environmental benefits of re-wearing, re-using and upcycling.

Job roles/skills: story board planning, photography, photo editing, team work
For this photo story we decided to work with fun and humorous independent fashion magazine Buffalo, having to explore the physical and mental benefits of outdoor exercise, and the environmental benefits of reducing, re-using and recycling. We decided on a concept of mental growth, presenting nature as a form of escapism from reality through immersing oneself with the outdoors. We embraced Buffalo Zines hippie culture to present the outdoors as embodying a fantastical relief from mental anguish. Within the group, my role was mainly creating the storyboard and design recipe pre-shoot.
