This Christmas, while shopping for Christmas gifts I realized shopping for my mom was more challenging than I thought. At the same time, my grandpa of 80-something years of age hasn't been doing too well, healthwise. So it only seemed most appropriate to give her something that would best represent him.
I've been working with this medium for the last few months and I felt it was the best way to represent my grandpa. So I took this picture from my mother's phone and went to work.

Though I was proven to still need plenty of practice using this medium, I was happy with the outcome despite the short amount of time I had to work on this piece. As far as my mother goes, well she loved it to say the least.
