A recipient of the 2013 NCTA Vanguard Award for Young Leadership, David Preschlack has served as president of NBC Sports regional networks and executive vice president of content strategy for NBC Sports Group since 2016. In addition to overseeing the operation of nine regional networks in markets nationwide, David Preschlack has spearheaded the network’s entry into the sports betting arena.

In January 2021, the PGA Tour announced a new option for the rapidly growing population of sports gamblers. Through a partnership with PointsBet, NBC Universal produced a second-screen broadcast of PGA tour events, adding betting-focused content while continuing to provide traditional sports coverage.

The 4-day test even debuted at the PGA Tour’s Waste Management Phoenix Open in February and featured 10 hours of live coverage. Golf Channel commentators George Savaricas and Steve Burkowski, along with PointsBet’s Teddy Greenstein, provided tournament insights and betting analysis of odds, strategies, and betting markets. The broadcast aired from a set on the iconic par 3 16th hole at the TPC Scottsdale course.
