I looked at the theme of future fashion and how what we wear can change depending on the climates that we are in. I wanted to focus on my knowledge of 3D clothing as I have specialized in virtual clothing and using software to replicate fabric. I wanted to think about what kind of clothing we would have in the future and why. I researched many materials and fabrics I wanted to use and how the fabrics we use will be impacted by our changing globe. I found inspiration for my project in sea creatures, especially jellyfish as they are one of the longest living animals in the world predating human existence. I decided to create an outfit inspired by the texture and form of these creatures as I believe humans need to adapt to these new environments as the jellyfish did.
