STYLE: ballet inspired
SOLUTION
The French word "pirouette" is a ballet term to spin/turn while balanced on one's toes. The stylized "P" lends itself perfectly to also resemble a ballerina's foot "en pointe." The script font used for the headings mimics ribbons which are frequently used in ballet. Menu courses are named like sections of a ballet. Pink was an obvious choice for one of the colors. The brown and yellow-beige balances the femininity of the pink and ground it so it had a less frivolous and more clean, professional look. A bar (also a tool used in practicing ballet) is placed at the top as a unifying element that connects the various sized pieces.
