1st Trail Challenge

이번에는 팀프로젝트로 인사를 드리게 되었는데요. 14명의 아티스트들이 저와 함께 'Trail Challenge'에 동참해 주었습니다.

Hi, this is Hyunji Yoon, a motion graphic designer at GIANTSTEP.

I wanted to share some news about our new team project, "Trail Challenge." 14 more artists have joined me on this project.

원래는 #길과 #흔적이라는 주제로 개인작을 진행했었는데 위에 있는 4개의 씬을 만들고 난 뒤,

다른 사람들과 함께 릴레이로 진행을 해보면 더 재미있을 거 같아서 챌린지를 주최하게 되었습니다.

I have been working on personal projects on #roads and #trails.
After creating the 4 works above, I thought, why not work on this with other artists. Now, here we are with this challenge.

공간 설정과 표현 방법은 자유롭게 제시를 했으며, 부감을 원칙으로 하되, 몇몇 씬은 공간 특성상 측면 뷰로 진행을 하였습니다.
14명의 아티스트들이 자기만의 색깔로 표현한 아트웍은 제가 생각한 거 보다 다양하고 재미있는 아웃풋이 나와서 작업하는 내내
즐거웠는데요. 각자의 취향과 스킬, 추구하는 것이 모두 다르지만 이렇게 하나의 주제로 한 작품을 만들게 되어 영광이었습니다.

We kept this project as open as possible for the space setting and the approach. Perspective-wise, we tried to keep it to a top view unless a side view is necessary for the space composition. I was very excited about the project, but it turned out to be even more colorful and fascinating than I expected. It was my honor to work on the project with these 14 talented artists with different colors, tastes, and artistic journeys.
