Kiss Me - Sixpence None the Richer

This video was a project where we were to create a music video for a song of our choice using clips and footage from other sources such as movies, shows, games, etc. After a bit of brainstorming, I chose to use the song "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer.
I wanted to create a loose narrative, starting "love at first sight" scenes, then slowly getting more romantic after each chorus. While I did try to match the lyrics to relevant scenes, I felt it would lessen the impact of the video if I had a kiss scene right away as soon as the first "Kiss me" was sang. I decided to delay them until shortly after the second chorus, where I then created a montage of various kisses throughout television and film. The montage was the first idea I came up with when I decided to use this song, and it came out exactly as I envisioned it. I paid close attention to multiple factors when it came to placing clips in the right spot for this video as well, not only looking at the lyrics but also paying attention to the speed of the song in relation to the clip, as well as what clip comes before/after it.
Overall, I'm really proud of how this video turned out, looking back at it there's very little I would change about it. It's very well edited, clips never linger for too long or get cut too short, and I feel I really matched the romantic mood of the song as well.
