Final design rationale:
The main theme for our semiotic cards is Online Interaction. As a group, we wanted to show the ups and downs of using technology in a post-pandemic world whether it be negative or positive. The theme is relevant towards the pandemic because people all around the world have experienced (at some point in time) an online work experience or a at home school experience. We really wanted to show that connection through our semiotic card designs. The creative direction and style we decided to go with was a simple styled 2 multicolored background design. The purple and green background colors signify weather the card is positive or negative. With some of the cards we also wanted it to be cohesive so we used the same people illustrations for 3 of the cards.
