In my Design class, we were assigned to create a greyscale mandala-inspired piece that was mirrored on all sides. I came up with a duo of clowns– one happy, one sad– as a personal project, and decided to incorporate these characters into my final piece. Additionally, I included classic circus elements such as the tent and the platform to fill the empty spaces between the character busts.
