Diggs is a premium pet supplies brand that is aiming to disrupt the pet industry through design, innovation and solving real problems. 

Scope:
Determine the best way to integrate 3D/AR functionality into Diggs Revol product page.

Process: 
First I explored different possible placements of the 3D space within the image gallery section. Through some deliberation, we decided that it was best to keep the 3D experience contained like a normal image block in the gallery. It could always be expanded to fullscreen and on mobile, the experience is much more impactful.

We also decided that for desktop in particular, it was important that that the configurator was in close proximity to the color and size UI elements.

We did some exploration around what the inactive status of the 3D configurator might look like. We landed on a variation of the last option, adding an icon and subtle animation to further emphasize the feature.

Placement: I chose the placement based on close proximity to the color and size UI.

Animation: I introduced a subtle animation to draw attention to the 3D/AR feature.

Labeling: I chose a relevant icon and the caption "View in 3D" to make its use explicit.

Mobile: Optimized for mobile devices, easy to explore colors and sizes.
Augmented Reality: Option to scan QR code to see your custom Revol crate in your home. See below for examples of the AR in action.
