Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition
The Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition is an international illustration contest held annually as part of the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF), with the support of the Shanghai Press and Publication Administration. I submitted a series of five illustrations with the title "Blue and Grey". This artwork was done digitally with handmade brushes and textures.
Artwork Description:
The world is in blue and grey. It is affecting many families in around the world. A dad suggested a small party to keep his family colored. This warm and simple event brings more hope to live. The children started to clean the house. Mom and dad started to cook. Uncle and aunt decorated a special cake. Each family member has their own role.
