HUSH. Desk Microphone Concept
HUSH was a modelling exercise from some time back which I decided to bring to life in the form of a desk microphone.
The overall design is kept quite minimal with the branding area made to be the key design element to provide the microphone with a bold and characteristic look.
This was also a good exercise in designing and modelling the more functional components of the design, namely the adjustment clamp, knob and the stand, and making sure the practicality isn't compromised.
CMF Explorations
I experimented with brushed metal for the body and a few metal mesh variations for the grill as well but finally went with matte plastic and foam since I felt it complemented the design better.
