"Al di là della notte"

EN: The entire booklet and the graphics in general required a finicky post-production. I looked for the right colour tones and saturation/brightness degrees because I wanted to give different sensations keeping them linked in one concept. The photos by Fausto Scirchio have been edited in detail in order to give the whole project a homogeneous look.
IT: Per il retro si è lavorato su una sovrapposizione degli occhi delle componenti del gruppo, in modo da creare un suggestivo "occhio" appartenente a tutte e quattro; mentre guarda "al di là della notte", all'occhio si sovrappone - grazie anche all'aiuto di alcune texture create con foto del gruppo - un'immagine delle Nefas durante una danza dall'aspetto rituale. Il tutto è stato virato verso una colorazione prevalentemente indaco/violetta, con riferimento alla "notte" del titolo.
EN: As for the back, I worked with the eyes of all band members, laying them one upon the other in order to create an evocative "eye" belonging to them all; while it looks "beyond the night" (as the title says), a picture of Nefas during a ritual dance is laying upon it. Textures created through a set of pictures of the band were used. The whole has been turned indigo/purple, in reference to the "night" in the title.
IT: La scelta dei font è stata finalizzata a un'idea di professionalità e leggibilità che non tralasciasse l'effetto puramente artistico: sul retro, infatti, la tracklist ha una funzione prevalentemente decorativa ed è per questo che ci si è permessi un carattere più adatto al ruolo di ornamento che di lettura, badando ovviamente che i titoli delle tracce risultassero comunque leggibili.
Per la stampa sul CD, invece, è stato utilizzato il logo delle Nefas, realizzato da Marco Serravalle.
EN: The choice of typefaces was oriented to an idea of readability which couldn't leave a purely artistic effect out: on the back, tracklisting has a mostly decorative function and this is why I chose a mostly ornamental typeface, though making sure it was perfectly readable. For the CD label a logo by Marco Serravalle was used, as requested by the clients themselves.
