This project was to create 5 spreads using changing or evolving typographical parameters: typeface, type style, size, colour and other typographical elements. At each spread an additional typographical element was to be added and so the steps would build into a variable sequence of design solutions to the same problem. This publication is information based, therefore must solve the presentation of typographical text through order, structure and clarity.

Focusing particularly on the frame, and the lock up of the letterpress I intended to use these elements to push the text across the double page spread throughout the publication and essentially lock the text into the page as it travels. Exploring this concept, and having limited parameters I used the different glyphs within the typefaces to create an image of the different furniture that would be placed around the type.
