'‘Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness’ from Anni Albers. As life is never an easy task for everyone, for me, art is the key. When tasting artworks, the best moment is a phrase flashing in my mind, called ‘I was inspired by that’. I got this feeling when I was trying to get rid of my sight from the ‘TR III’ by Anni Albers. With the golden surface and irregular distributed triangles, it reminds me that how artists are always living in a spectacular life with several uncertainties. Therefore, I hope my illustration is able to display how it feels, with a spontaneous person drawing her life on a blank page. Some of the parts are clear, the other is a bit blurry, and that's how we see life.' - Agnes Hui

Art Affirmation by @agneshuiart of a quote by Anni Albers⠀
'We always know how we supposed to look at life until someone told us how to do. Inspired by ‘Looking at the life with the eyes of a child’ from Henri Martisse, I created this illustration. What’s the difference between the eyes of children and eyes of adults? I would use the difference between imagination and cognition as a metaphor. Whilst imagination is the key to how children look at their life, most adults lose it after they grow up. Then I tried to use two simple ideas to demonstrate it, the lens and the kaleidoscope. As an illustrator, the process to brings out my creativity is looking at everything in my life with unlimited imagination, like the kaleidoscope. How can I do that? Changing to my colourful lens which named as ‘Child’. - Agnes Hui

Art Affirmation by @agneshuiart of a quote by Henri Martisse
'If you add some milk you will get a latte, if you add some love you can create art. People would rather believe artists have a gifted mind than have passion for art. During the art process, I don’t suggest you to put too much pressure on art itself, just take a deep breath and then fall in love with the art. Let’s see how magical the love is. That will give you huge power of creative inspiration.' - Agnes Hui 💗
