Naša tvár nám slúži ako nástroj komunikácie naších pocitov s okolím. Pomocou mimických svalov môžeme vyjadriť emócie ako sú hnev či radosť a zviditeľniť tak naše vnútro svetu. Sú však emócie, ktoré sú pri svojej komplexnosti priam nevyjadriteľné jednoduchou mimikou a tak ostávajú pred ostatnými ľuďmi skryté. Svojou prácou som sa snažila vytvoriť „neviditeľné“ portréty týchto emócií a prekročiť tým fyzické limity našej tváre.
Our face works as a tool with which we communicate our feelings with the surroundings. With the help of facial muscles we are able to express emotions such as anger or happiness and make our inner psyche visible to the world. However, there are such feelings which are with our facial expressions thanks to their complexity almost inexpressible, therefore they stay hidden from other people. I tried to create "invisible" portraits of these emotions with my work and surpass the physical limitations of our faces.
