My idea of a textured dancer come from the motion dance video by Method Studios for Major Lazer’s song “Light it up”. I have been obsessed with this video, so being able to re-create a sense of movement with my character was a great achievement. 

This project was part of an exercise to create a fictive dance event poster on Illustrator. Below is the final result result:
